This policy explains what personal data Redent collects, why, and your rights under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email, mobile number, city, state and PIN code.
• Verification details (optional): dental council, registration number and certificate.
• Listings, photos and messages you send on Redent.
• Basic technical data needed to run the site securely, such as login sessions.

Why we use it

• To run your account, publish and review listings, and deliver messages.
• To verify dentist registration and keep the marketplace safe.
• To contact you about your listings and enquiries, and — only if you opt in — send WhatsApp updates.

Who can see it

• Public: your listings, your display name (or clinic name), city and verified status.
• Never public: your phone number, email and verification documents. Only the Redent team can see these.
• Service providers who host our site and data (for example our database and hosting providers), under contract.

We do not sell your personal data.

Your rights

You can access and correct your details in your account, withdraw WhatsApp consent at any time, and ask us to delete your account through the contact page.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active and for as long as needed to meet legal obligations, after which it is deleted.
