Terms of use

These terms apply when you use redent.net (“Redent”, “we”). By creating an account or listing an item you agree to them.

1. What Redent is

Redent is an online marketplace that lets buyers and sellers of used dental equipment find each other. Unless a listing says it is sold by Redent, the item is sold by the seller, not by Redent, and the sale contract is between buyer and seller.

2. Accounts

• You must give accurate details and keep your login secure.
• A verified-dentist badge means we checked the registration details you provided. It is not an endorsement of any item.
• We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put other users at risk.

3. Listings

• You must own the item and describe its condition honestly, including faults.
• We review listings and may edit, refuse or remove any listing, including items on our prohibited list.
• Free listings stay live for 20 days; Redent Assist listings for 30 days.

4. Redent Assist

With Assist, Redent promotes your listing and handles enquiries and negotiation for you. You set your minimum price and approve any sale. The Assist fee is payable once your listing is approved and is non-refundable after the listing goes live, except as stated in our refund policy.

5. Buying

Buyers should inspect items (in person or on video) before paying in full. Redent does not inspect items unless clearly stated and is not responsible for the condition of items sold by other users.

6. Conduct

No spam, fake listings, harassment, or attempts to take payments outside agreed channels to defraud others.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Redent’s liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid to Redent in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Disputes and law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue.

9. Grievance officer

Complaints can be sent through our contact page. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month.
